Philosophy
Our philosophy is to guide each student through instruction as well as play for the building of their social emotional, cognitive, and physical developmental stages. We believe that while guided instruction is effective, children learn more through play, thus we leave most of the teaching to the children through their hands on experiences through our centers in each classroom. Our teacher to student ratio is low, 10:1 to ensure each child gets the attention they need for their individual education. (Curriculum/Teaching)
Vision
We encourage learning through play, as well as guided instruction. Students at Teenie Tots will be taught based on age appropriate curriculum that will both meet them where they are and help build on this already gained knowledge to get them ready for the next class grade. Administration, Staff, Students, Family, as well as the community all play a role in our practices, whether it is teaching, guiding, volunteering, or observing in our classrooms.
